My first step to heaven was down on my knees I cried, Lord, have mercy on a sinner like me. Then I felt his spirit, I had never felt before I knew it was my Savior, he had opened the door Chorus Then I opened my eyes to a brand new sunrise Jesus shined his light down on me. And there where so many sights, my eyes had never seen Then I realized, this wasnt just a dream.
